Dos Libros de historia para conocer lo que son las conquistas -- (Two books to know what a conquest is and means)

            Dos libros que te enseñarán que aparte de la historia oficial existe otra que a menudo
            se nos oculta.

       Dos libros que sería bueno leer en escuelas, colegios,
     universidades y en las casas con la familia al menos 
     una vez por curso y generación. Después, que cada 
     uno cavile lo que quiera...

    en  los países de donde salen los conquistadores, aquellos que ``civilizan´´ el mundo ,
    quizá debería pensarse si nosotros mismos estamos civilizados o si nuestra civilización, como 
    otras pasadas y presentes sinplemente tiene sus cimientos levantados sobre la desgracia ajena.
    Salvo la tecnología y la medicina, no han cambiado tanto las cosas desde que nuestros ante-
    pasados, también tribus o naciones de salvajes cazadores, luchaban por los recursos de sus terri-
    torios.
    Hoy en día, a mayor escala, esta lucha continúa en los países desarrollados como en los no tanto 
    sólo que además tenemos la capacidad de destruir el lugar en que vivimos mientras miramos a 
    otro lado. Continuamos siendo manadas de lobos en lucha constante, en busca de los beneficios 
    que se supone nos brindará la victoria. Podemos disimularlo con leyes y religiones, podemos de-
    cir que no está a nuestro alcance corregir los daños que el sistema y el bienestar adquiridos lle-
    van parejos. Que tras tanto esfuerzo no sepuede dar atrás un paso o siquiera levantar el pie del      
    acelerador para pensar un poco...
    Entonces , ¿debemos agotar cuanto antes los recursos en un despilfarro que ni un ``salvaje´´
   entiende?
 
    Estas reflexiones sólo exponen un punto de vista, cada 
   cual tendrá el suyo, tan válido se supone, como el de los
   demás.   

              hay varios siglos entre las redacciones de estos escritos históricos pero ambos nos
              muestran una misma visión sobre el lado más oscuro de las conquistas.
            

            Bartolomé De Las Casas participó en aquellas expediciones de conquista. Dee Brown
            hurgó en las notas y archivos de tratados que los mismos vencedores escribieron para
            con sus propias leyes y mandatos hacerse con el territorio y los recursos.

      Two books that will teach you that aside from the official history there is another one that
      often  is hidden from us. Two books that would be good to read in schools, colleges, uni-
      versities and in homes with the family at least once per course and generation. Then, each
      one cavile what you want ... in the countries where the conquerors come from, those who
     "civilize" the world, perhaps we should think if we ourselves are civilized or if our civilizati-
      on, as other past and present simply has its foundations raised on the misfortune of others.


      Except for technology and medicine, things have not changed so much since our past foes, 
      also tribes or nations of savage hunters, fought for the resources of their terri thorium.


    Today, on a larger scale, this struggle continues in developed and non-developed countries
    only that we also have the capacity to destroy the place where we live while we look at other
    side. We continue to be wolf packs in constant struggle, in search of the benefits which is 
    supposed to win us victory. We can dissimulate it with laws and religions, we can say that it
    is not within our power to correct the damages that the system and the well-being acquired
    take along. That after so much effort can not give back a step or even raise the foot of the
    accelerator to think a little ...

    So, ¿should we exhaust the resources as soon as possible in a waste that not a `` wild '' soul
    understands?
 
    These reflections only set out a point of view, each which will have his, as valid assumption,
    as one´s each.

    There have been several centuries between the redactions of these historical writings but
    both show the same vision on the darker side of the conquests.
    Bartolomé De Las Casas participated in those expeditions of conquest. Dee Brown dug
    in the notes and archives of treaties that the same victors wrote for with their own laws and 
    mandates to take over territory and resources.
